[Instance] BT & Hyjal explored (Fully)

First of all, this is a Repost. I have posted a thread last year where I showed off my work in Hyjal/BT. The reason for reposting is, that there aren't any big exploration things are going on at the moment, and since I posted a challenge from BT in the Master of Exploration thread, I thought this might be a good thing to help the people who try it

Didn't seem like a lot of people read my old thread anyway.
I will probably add guides on how I got to certain places in the last days, since Teron trash farming got nerfed a long time ago and I doubt the guilds which are able to enter BT in 2.4 will profit from these exploits in any way. I will make a guide when I have som time, I guess this weekend.

Well, I've been working on this for quite a while but I guess I'm done with most of it for now. I have fully explored most of the Area in the instances Mount Hyjal and Black Temple. I doubt there is much stuff missing, probably there are some better views possible, but I wouldn't spend my days trying to walljump up certain mountains >.<

Please also note that the BT Stuff has VERY HIGH potential for exploitation. You don't need to kill many bosses to be able to go straight to Illidari Council or farm Teron Trash (you will see the Teron Trash alive in some pics). Might aswell go farm Sharaz trash but thats quite hard ^^
I will not give detailed information on the exploitation part of this yet. I have prepared screenshots for a guide but I somehow feel that this is too harsh on the one hand for the vast mass of players and Blizz would fix it anyway if it was made public.

Please note aswell, that this was done on live server (i was there on different times and days, with PvP-Specc and PvP-Gear, mix Gear for Bosses like Bloodboil and full PvE Gear) and my guild just downed RoS today, so there were no possibilites to reach Sharaz or Council Trash by using the normal way.

I hope you'll enjoy the pictures, I especially enjoyed exploring the outdoor area, it looks really nice. I would also really appreciate some feedback concering quality and content =)

I will think over posting the guide on how to reach Teron Trash, since this can be done with a Pala and a SS anyway, but my way is just more convenient (and easy to farm solo for Frostmages =D).

Please give me some Feedback about the screenshots, I have started exploring Sunwell on the PTR yet and I found some quite neat things yet (sorry, didn't make any screens >.<) and don't know if I should make a bigger post for sunwell too.

if u could also explain how to get in mother sharaz's trash with only najentus+supremos+akama+teron killed would be 5*

arfi, you only need to kill naj'entus and supremus and you can reach sharaz, teron, council and there might be a way for slowfall classes to eos/bloodboil room too.

I did this when my guild was wiping on teron/bloodboil and when teron trash still dropped epics. I farmed like 3000g in a few days ^^

Will do a guide when I have ID + spare time, so probably on the weekend.

inspired me lot, but i wondered is this still possible on live servers without any haxx? i dont really wanna know how, its more fun to figure out yourself, but i wonder if it requires class specific abilities (like blink and slowfall) or unstuck? or is it possible for anyone?

Well the core part of this was a HUGE (i mean REALLY HUGE) walljump, so I guess it's 90% nerfed. I knew 2 ways to get out of BT but also the 2nd way required some walljumping. Maybe I'll try to spend some time in BT and look for new ways, but I can't really think of any. I just feel a bit sad for not posting a guide on time, this was a great piece of exploration which more people should have been able to experience. But the fact that this could be exploited so easy kept me from posting (supremus -> illidari council anyone? ^^, or teron trash solo farming when they still dropped epic, god this made me rich :x).

yea guessed it was probably nerfed.. was planning to explore tuesday, but my guild was in there and wanted me in za after will get back there sunday night..

apart from that, i really dont understand the methods they used to nerf walljumping.. ofc where they used invisible walls its obvious, but i was playing around in MH after we cleared it last night and found an invisible wall you could walljump

It's quite simple JustAThought. They probably changed the way the engine works. I mean they knew about walljumping for over a year. They can't have not recognized it. But the fix took so long because fixing it wasn't quite easy. I guess they had to change a few parametres and the way the engine calculates angles. They worked for a while and found a neat way and implented it with 2.4.

I can tell you that the ways I used to jump were the wall of BT to the right of where supremus stands and a Wall on the way to Teron. Hf searching if you really want to try :S

yea but if they changed the way the engine works wouldnt it be nerfed everywhere? and why use invisible walls in some places then?? "mechanics" for walls should logically be the same everywhere but obviously some walljumps are still possible..

and i kinda guessed your spot.. cos your first pic is outside where teron thrash is right before teron and logically that would be up and to the right of supremus..

still waiting for us to clear some on sunday before i can check it out thou...

ps. thanks for the answers.. 2 bad for me i've been so lazy to start exploring and i havent been to BT since after 2.4 anyway.. but in a way its just a new challenge now
