There is two solutions to this:

A. A player has gotten hacked, Gamemasters has been investigating it (Bumping the account up to a anotherlevel) then forgot to then normalize it. I acutally read a thread on the EU forums lately where Blizzard apologized to the population of Vek'Nilash for granting a player powers he should not have.

B. This might be a Gamemaster quitting or have gotten fired, and wanted to play out his last hours (Day?) on the job.
or he just felt like pulling a practical joke.

I would be amused if this happend to me. : )
