How to get inside Thorim's Peak

Hey guys, I found a spot blizzard has opened for us to go inside this mountain in Stormheim

Coordinates of the entrance are roughly: 38.64, 81.01 Stormheim (note: you need flying in order to get there)

Doesn't it disconnects you when you go underground anymore ? Or is it that you were too high ?
