Real Exploration

.....doesn't mean finding things in textures. A penis on a wall? How is that exploring? Hell, if anything finding hidden things in textures should go into the Model Editing section, NOT HERE. Exploring is getting to places where most people don't/can't go, and going out in the "world"(of warcraft.) So please, please, PLEASE stop disgracing this part of the forum with your "LOL I FOUND X IN A TEXTURE THIS IS SO ****ING COOL" posts.

has been arround for a long time now and almost
everything has been found.
3) Untill WotLK comes out, dont expect anything good in this

Exploring doesn't always mean finding a new place. You can find different WAYS to get to a place, or find out how to get over/ontop of something...hell, exploration is pretty much just going out in the world and finding things. It doesn't matter if the game has been out for a long time...they can change the terrain thus nerfing some ways to get to places etc. Therefore you must find a new way of going there. How do you do that? Not browsing forums all day but...exploring and sharing you're experience.

I explored MH and BT fully. I mean every fkin inch outside of the regular instaces. I upped a .rar here for my over 1-month work including over 300 screenshots. I got about 3-4 answers, one real contributor repped me and that was it.

Right to that time there was some "epic find" thred right above me. About a picture of a naked human/bloodelf girl on a bed. That thread was over 2 sites long.

It's really kind of ridiculous what's going on here sometimes. I was really disappointet and this no-damn-way of attention for really good exploration actually keeps me from contributing any further for a while.

But since we're at it, I'll search my thread and push it up, maybe you could have a short peek into it

Exactly my point. You don't need to go somewhere new to explore. You just need to find different/new things AT a place.

Exploration of WoW is like so, Finding something blizzard doesnt want you to find, or figuring out little easter eggs, ex: Going out of AV, under SW/Org, Hyjal, or something like an npc emote, etc.

Finding faces and pictures, that probly weren't meant to be there, just something thats there, is a bit off the track of easter eggs, unless blizz put it there on purpose, thats just like saying "If you look at my mouse it looks like a (Insert limb that is funny to a 12-year-old here >_<)"

Note: This is a 10 minute video with hell a LOT of stuff, so 1000 Views actually suck if you compare them with above.

Note: Again a big release (by me) of 300 Screenshots, from the full instanced area of MH and BT. Also got no real responses for that.

This is really not what this forum is supposed to be for. I don't even bother contributing any more exploration screens or stuff I find, just because it'd get flooded away by lame "Face" or "GM" Threads that just don't belong here. The spirit of exploration is not really present atm.

Just my 2 Cents anyway.
