How the hell did you get a map screenshot like that?

No idea if he has the same addon as I do but I have one called Foglight and you can set it so it shows minimap files instead of the actual map which is (I believe) what he's doing there.
I rarely check Ownedcore nowadays. Need to contact me? Message me on Discord: dovvah

It's an add-on called Carbonite with the scaling turned off (scaling off turns your map into a giant minimap). The difference between Carbonite and Foglight is that Carbonite can be used to view any map at any given time with different scaling, and you navigate with your mouse, with Foglight you can't.
Also, as I said if you want a screenshot like mine you have to turn down the scaling option to 0 when viewing the map, otherwise there is the default map overlay at a certain range. (right click on the map when open).
Example of Carbonite being used, but with default scaling: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...northrend.html (Possible GM structure in Northrend)
Edit: Scaling option is called "Details at zoom level" under the scaling options when you right click the open map.

I wonder what that orb (and subsequently the dragon that's gone now) were for, or at the very least why they were left in the game through release and through all the patches. It would have been great to have been able to view this part of the mountain during the alpha of WoD, to see what was planned (Chronal Spire of Draenor). All this stuff was likely part of the original storyline of WoD, before it was rewritten. That region of the map was supposed to be the entryway to Draenor, going by the original design. It likely employed some timey-wimey dragons manipulating time for the players, but that was scrapped at some point during development - likely before the announcement at Blizzcon 2013.

I remember seeing pictures of time rifts in Tanaris during the test phases of WoD. The rifts looked like the ones in Black Morass. So yeah the Bronze Dragonflight probably had a larger role in the storyline at some point doing development.
