Is it possible that Blizzard is responsible for the that were stolen at launch?

I was reading reddit and I saw this: Blizzard never actually said when the security breach occurred. Is it possible that they are responsible for the large amount of account theft that happened when the game launched? : Diablo

It made a good point. Blizzard never actually said when the security breach occurred. They said that they didn't notice the breach until August 4th... but they didn't say when the breach itself happened.

Is it possible that Blizzard is actually responsible for all of the account theft back when the game was released? Blizzard was being pretty rude to people accusing them... so this would be quite funny :-P

No its users fault for using the same passwords on multiple sites or downloading some virus.

The accounts which where stolen were simply comboed, phished or from rootkit infested pcs.

You believe this? Please look into this further for your own good. Blizzard admitted what was released, I had an account that has had no usage since may hacked. When I called blizzard they flat out told me that the person typed in the password. You tell me how that happens 3 months after last play and 2 days after they announced they were hacked? I use malwarebytes pro and avast pro. I have not played even d3 on my main account (which was not compromised) in 3 weeks as I have been playing DayZ. I have no hacks or anything downloaded. Only hacks I have used since may was untzbot and luckys bot for swtor....
