Difficult to say but worth bearing in mind the stormshield portal in stormwind isn't active for fresh 90's.

This looks like a feature that was implemented before a change of policy and got forgotten about.

"Rumor" being the operative word. The green fire never, ever lead to Emerald Dream. That was a legend concocted by Dopefish.

To all the people asking if it's an exploit or if it can be manipulated it's simply a bit of flavor showing the link between timeless isle and the time travel that resulted from the forces at work there.

Also for alts, can't you just get a port to Stormshield/Warspear to skip Tanaan?

Me and my buddy Seminko also spent countless hours messing around with the green flame. I'm glad to see this works.

This is like a dream, like something from the Matrix. You click something, do ten pushups and bam, you get teleported.

You must have MoP to do this! I've tried this on both f2p and standard edition and you cannot port there, you just have no tooltip on the fire. You get no message or anything, you just can't click it.

Very cool! I did it with a lvl 20 trial version char, and participated in Drov The Ruiner kill and got a lvl 650 neck Could be used to farm Rukhmar with lowbies infinitely!
