You need to be dead to get the quest for the key in BRD as well. (or was it another BRD quest you needed to be dead for?)

Think the question mark is big because of a "bug" that sometimes also causes other players names to be very big. About the key quest in BRD, yeah its that one, you can also only see the ghost when you are dead
