Northrend Availibility In Map Files?

Well, i was repairing WoW the other day and i happened to notice some northrend map files. With blizzard showing us screenshots and such of certain things from WOTLK this interested me. If you notice in the one trailer also, its as though it was filmed of players just playing. Is there anyone who can confirm that these files could be utilized and maybe placed in-game on an emu or something? It would be an amazing addition to the world of emulation. But otherwise, cheers.

Yarr, there was something when i was repairing, it was named northrend.exe stuff etc. i have fast comp so i didnt get good look at the files cuz they went by quickly. otherwise, i think so.

Lol yeh. I just wonder if we could utilize the files in like emus and stick it to blizz by havin northrend stuff out before them. that or we could use it for some killer ME's =p

The way i think it might be is from the launcher OR a map file for the map in game i dont think they would put in all of it (even unfinished) sense it would be a big wast of space...... but they have thoughs already to like Hyjal and flat lands around areas like from IF to SW BIG flats. Well any way Blizz is dumb how they are so willy-nilly with there map info and such.

I would be kick ass if you can utilize it ^^

Just like with Outland, they are going to set out a test WAY far out of the edge of the world i bet, get a updated Yatlas and see if you can find it ;]

One might consider finding it in WoWMapview first. But I highly doubt any Northrend-related mapfiles can be found ingame atm. Maybe whatever you saw there is related to the only things labeled Northrend atm; the weapons!

PS - I think i figured this northrend thing out, maybe its just the outside kel thuzad's lair area in naxx instanced. =l

There was Outland files in WoW before TBC, they dont put in all files at the same time and slap you in the face with a 3gig patch.
Or how else could people get to Outlands before TBC?
