Hey! Long time reader first time poster here.

Couldn't really find anything on this, so I'll throw this post up

Me and a friend decided to have some fun after the raid.
Both of us being into exploring we discovered some cool stuff.

Instanced Stormwind is something that we do not see often. So glad someone found there way in here.

Is there any way back there (i.e. portal or such) after you've killed and left him? Or do you have to wait a week each time? I was looking around but couldn't find any.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, as you might imagine I had alot of fun making this video.
Some minor info-

-Stormwind is mostly complete, went into most of the rooms. Pretty much everything is "solid ground" and not just walk trough textures.
-All benches are usable.
-No NPC's found (as of yet), apart from the dead soldiers within the viewing range of the fight area.
-No water in the main city for some reason, so boats are floating...
-I had this goal of getting onto the ships, tried one of them. Which was just textures (fell trought it) So I imagine all of them are.
-When I went towards the main entrance of Stormwind you get the fog effect, as in the video @ 0:42 - 0:47. But I could still go further, which I'm working on atm.

@Ritual. I'm afraid the rift to enter Stormwind was gona when I entered the raid next day again. Will update if I find a workaround.

Topic bump for a question : does anyone have the slightest idea of the physical location of Garrosh's P4 map ?0
We know both transitions are underwater and located under Galakras' map, but I have no idea of where this one would be.

Anybody ?

I did try to swim around / walk outside of SW (this one in the video) to see if I could find some hints to where it is located. But I really don't know. The loading screen is usually a bit longer than the other transitions in the fight. So I wouldn't be suprised if it's not close to the other ones.

I ended up by answering my own questions

So basically, Siege of Orgrimmar is split in 3 separate, huge map chunks.

The first one contains Immerseus, Fallen Protectors, Norushen and Sha of Pride. The map is a copypaste of the Vale of Eternal Blossom
What it looks like from (high) above :



Only a tiny fraction of the map is actually used.

The second one holds all the other encounters, exception made of Heroic Garrosh's P4.
The map itself is a copypaste of Orgrimmar and its surroundings, with the addition of many sublevels. Garrosh encounter is located under Bladefist Bay, and the 3 transitions submaps are located near Garrosh's main room, hence the short loading time.

The final one is solely dedicated to Heroic Garrosh P4. This might be the most absurd map I ever laid eyes on :



Yes, the tiny blue-ish shape in the middle is where the encounter takes place. Everything else is useless, but Blizzard decided to include an entire copy of Stormwind and a good portion of Elwynn Forest. And of course, a giant sea.

As for the map themselves, they are located pretty far apart and separated by unmapped terrain, so I will assume that there is no way of going to Stormwind without defeating Heroic Garrosh, but who knows
