Azshara Crater was meant to be make for EoTs but after they have seen that AV was like really not 50% 50% they didn't make the project further (Azshara Crater is like 2X as big as AV).

I bet my ass Aszhara Crater never got released due to being simply, way to big. Would take lots of time and so much space... so many quests and side events and so and so on... I mean, a whole BFD dungeon entrance, what would they put in there?! :P And a thousand other big ass places... I mean it's more like a leveling zone than a BG. x)

Yeah, if i remember well, it will be in WotLC cause i heared them talking about an Azshara BG.

I think one of the quests to get into noggaholics were to get to azshara crater, if i remember it right.

But yes, indeed. It would be kinda cool to play this BG. And it would be cool if you could use flying mounts there, then it destroys the whole "way to big" thing too.

sorry to break your bubble but thats really, really old, since alpha but still with WotLK coming out soon it does seem like blizz might revive it and make it a new BG
