Quite the title, I know.
I was exploring the outskirts of the heroic Garrosh Stormwind area, which encompasses a lot of surrounding land, with some friends and we stumbled across an odd minimap abnormality.
This is the real, current Westfall minimap at the same location I was in the instance, and as you can see there are some ridges underneath the water, but it eventually drops off into fatigued, open water:
Now, this is the minimap within Siege of Orgrimmar's version of Westfall (I don't have it shown, but as far as I could see above or below the water, there was nothing there):
This could all just be in my head, thinking it is something more than a glitch with my minimap or something of the sort (or it's really obvious and I'm just too stupid to see it, in which case sorry for the title overkill), but I just wanted to share it with everyone to hear other inputs. Perhaps it is what the sea floor is structured as, or used to be. I just find it weird because I actually can't think of something off the top of my head. As soon as I saw it I hadn't the slightest idea why it would even be there. Thoughts, anyone?
