Return to Gilneas?

Hi guys,

I made a lvl 1 Worgen Druid and got out of the Gilneas starting zone without completing any quests, using the big topic about that here.

However, now I'd like to know if it is possible to return to Gilneas (phased) somehow. I still have my original Hearthstone and it says it will return me to Merchant's Square, but when I use it nothing happens. I cast it, the animation shows, but I stay in the exact same place.

Is there a way?

Run back or unstuck i guess with your hearthstone deleted. Or petition a gm :PPPP

Gilneas is a very well known area for exploring. I'm sure if you do a search in the exploration forums for "Gilneas" you will find a way out. Or you could just add me and I will be more than happy to show you the way out without doing any quests

I think you guys are misunderstanding.

I got out of Gilneas at level 1 and ended up at Westfall. I then levelled my character to level 15 in Teldrassil & Darkshore. But now I would like to know if there's a way to go BACK to Gilneas. My hearthstone is still set there, but when I use it, nothing happens.

Last time I read about this, the only thing someone mentioned was to use something like being logged out too long in a scenario, thus being ported to the HS location, but I'm not sure anyone has tested this.

Use a force HS trick, like the Direbrew remote one. Also, being logged out too long in a scenario probly works, but there are no level 15 scenarios.

What exactly is the Direbrew Remote trick? Doesn't it just port you to BRD?

Elektropop is correct. Simply using the hearthstone, or using auto-unstuck, is not sufficient.
In order to return to the starting zone you will need to somehow force your hearthstone.

Also, do you think that if I do get back to Gilneas, I will be able to teleport out with Teleport: Moonglade or any other teleportation item (like the guild cape) ?

What exactly is the Direbrew Remote trick? Doesn't it just port you to BRD?

Using the Direbrew remote will port you to BRD, but using the "Direbrew remote force hs trick" , you will be forced to your HS location. All there is to the trick is disconnecting at the right moment when you're using the remote, which will probly take some practice.

Yeah, they'll all work fine, don't worry about it.

You could just find a friend with one, as you can use party members Personal Mole Machines aswell.
