Hello WoW Exploration community !

I've been playing WoW since vanilla came out and through out the first 3 expansions (vanilla,TBC and Wtlk) I had no clue how to be good at this game so all i did was exploring. i explored all corners of WoW i really enjoyed wall jumping, mostly everything. but when Cata was released i was that older and i actually learned how to play the game, so i started doing what Blizzard really wanted us to do with the game. play it not explore behind the walls !

As of im a pretty new member of Ownedcore i mostly used it to check if any new exploits were out that would give an extra helping hand to the game. but then it happened i felt over this forum. Exploring. i've been looking through so many threads on this forum now and really been enjoying it. It looks like you have a really nice community, and then it hit me. i wanna get back into exploring the other side of WoW. So here's my question!

Would any up to date master explorer post some quick things about how you explore WoW these days, as in what methods are used to get through invisible walls and more like that? Thank you very much Looking forward to explore with you!

Ziozi, welcome to the community. I have done a halfway decent Exploration guide here, but it is sorely outdated. There are some new methods that I haven't updated, and some old methods that no longer work. It is a great starting point though, IMHO.

Nyarly, I am a married 35 year old with a full time (50+ hours a week) office job, and two kids.... when I get spare time, I like to tool around WoW, not update threads. Please forgive my laziness on the Project!

That being said... I have some time off coming next week... and you are correct, it is a valuable tool.... I've gotten many PMs recently from new explorers that are referring to it... so it needs to get done! It will be soon.

resolution #1 - get someone on vt/ts/mumble - explain it (it's faster to talk about it than write) and that person could rewrite it in readable thing and perhaps some your changes
resolution #2 - persuade Your Wife (?) to play wow ^^?

Calm down folks! I said I'll get to it... and no, my wife doesn't want anything to do with WoW.

*edit: Ok, I just finished a massive update. All the information that was already there has now been be updated to 5.2. It was actually more of an undertaking than I anticipated. Most sections had to be reworked, with items added and deleted, links updated, and some sections were deleted altogether.

This coming week I will begin the second phase... which is adding all the new stuff that has come since I created it. Work in progress! Thanks for your patience.
