Outside Troves of the Thunder King

So I just finished a video about how to get out of Troves of the Thunder King and wanted to share it with you!
You don't need a Key to the Palace of Lei Shen.

You need:
- Darkmoon "Tiger"
- Elixier of Giant Growth (or another Growth effect)

Useful but not needed:
- Goblin Glider
- Darkwater Potion
- Rocket Boots Xtreme (Lite)
- Slow Fall

Edit: I just noticed that you need the Key to get in there but you don't have to consume it.
Edit2: If you can't mount there then simply relog and you should be able to mount.

Absolutely wicked. I was trying to work this out the other night but failed. Came close, but encountered a death line in another part of the raid. I must spread before giving +rep to you again. Such a great exploration, thanks so much for sharing this. Just awesome.

It's a single-player scenario that was released with 5.2. You can start the scenario by handing in Key to the Palace of Lei Shen.
Then you have 5 minutes to walk around in there and open chests and so on (there are also a lot of traps).

Oh crap... I thought you were exploring the new Thunder King raid! Well... I believe the same DMT spot exists within the raid... would this method work to get out of there as well? Curious to try this method in there...

And looking forward to checking out this single player instance... I hadn't experienced it yet. Thanks again for sharing this!

The Thunder King raid is called Throne of Thunder But I have never been in there so I have no idea how it looks like or if this method will work.
But just give it a try. Hope you can do it

Nice, I wanted to try something like this, but didn't want to waste my key and not find anything.

Edit: Can you use the levers to open doors the doors before you start? would save a lot of time if you could.

I have no idea to be honest and can't try it out at the moment because I don't have a key

Oh and btw you don't actually have to use the key. It's enough to just have it in your inventory to get into the scenario.
So you can get there without wasting a key. The key will only be consumed when you actually start the event in the scenario.
