Not sure if this fits the thread, but, has anyone else noticed that in Heart of Fear, the last boss's room in the minimap is untextured? Somewhat strange, since the building that is fully textured, yet Blizzard appears to have either forgotten to create a finished minimap of it, or they were just lazy.
Also, in the Treasure trove scenario, after the first room, the second room has no minimap files, and appears as a mass of green in the minimap - this was annoying for the first time running the scenario, as you have no idea what's coming up next, and honestly made me think my game files were corrupted - I ended up reinstalling/downloading the game because of it, only to find that the 'error' persisted. Not sure if this was fixed in 5.3 or not, as I don't believe I've run that scenario since 5.3 came out.

Ok, here are some shots of the mostly dungeon explorations that I've been doing recently with EmoSauce (who should totally change his name to TheSauce in my [completely right] opinion) - Silvermoon City, Zul'Farrak, End Time and Utgarde Keep. All done using the insanely OP Shaman + Rogue totem shadowstep glitch. Today we'll be turning our attention to Dragon Soul and see what shenanigans we can get up to with this brilliantly useful trick. Stay tuned!

Aye, bit weird that. I'd say overall the totems are more OP than the zep, so it's odd how it's fixed while we can still totem-step away to our heart's content. I don't think it'll last a lot longer, so I'm trying to get as much use as I can out of it before it is indeed fixed.

I don't have a whole lot of exp in things getting fixed, literally none actually lol, but in my opinion I think they probably fixed the Zep because it 1) was easier to do solo and therefore easier for the masses to abuse, and 2) it was in the exploits section for a couple of days which Blizz obviously tracks pretty consistently from the amount of bugs they've fixed from it recently. And I'm sure you're right about the INC fix for the totems as well considering it is also obviously on the radar at this point.![]()
If I had the means I'd be all over exploring with that glitch hehe. I love that you're using it on areas which are really high up as that is clearly the best use for it.![]()
Ok, here's the pics from today little expedition outside of Dragon Soul, once accompanied by The Sauce, and using the Shaman/Rogue Totem-step trick.
Managed to use it to climb all the way up and over the Wrathgate and then over onto a large platform and hallway on the other side. Some awesome views from there!
And one of outside Crystalsong Forest:
(Even though The Sauce/EmoSauce isn't actually in the Wrathgate pictures, he is actually there - there's actually the same phasing in effect there as in the real world version. You also get silenced on the platform due to the debuff also carrying over)
