I think StrangleTusk showed this area in his Beyond the Portal series (using a darkmoon tiger to get past the portal, IIRC). You can also Mage Blink through the portal.
I always hear about people trying to get into the Shrine early (before they have access to the Vale). Besides the obvious Mage Portal... I always thought that room you show would be the best candidate. The back wall of that room is zoned as the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, so dying there should have you resurrecting in the Vale itself.

If you want to die just delete your hearthstone and use unstuck

Of course, MylesCore! Either that, or the handy Sacrificial Dagger I always hear about (but have yet to pick up).

I thought that death via unstuck (or the dagger) for exploration purposes would be common knowledge for most explorers... but just realized that this tool is not even mentioned in the Explorers Tutorial sticky thread! I'll have to update it at one point to include this handy trick.
