Many of the instances in Legion seem to have multiple parts of the instance separated on the same map

I've actually got some content to add today. I went exploring the Maw of Nashal scenario on a demon hunter, and wound up finding some early bits of highmountain along the way.

Darkheart Thicket. (about half way through I realized how to remove the annoying Nvidia toolbar...).

What struck me is how much effort went into making this instance difficult to explore, with a combination of invisible walls, los walls and (my favorite) sticky walls everywhere. There was a big gorge under the ground near Dresaron that I couldn't get to.

I haven't been on this thread since 2014. Used to do a lot of eagle-eye exploration back then. Just recently took a demon hunter out for a spin on some noobish rock climbing to see how they do.

Wanted to post a couple before and after shots.... or rather, inside and outside. Same spots, only one was in the normal outside world and the other is inside an instanced dungeon. I know these spots have been seen and posted before, but I wanted to try and contribute something to the thread anyhow.

I wanted to check the searing gorge camp in 0.5.3 and saw this big question mark, i'm confused now
Does someone recognise this stuff ?
edit : according to marlam, it was there until 1.12.1 and disappeared in 2.4.3, when the searing gorge mining camp appeared.

should I post this stuff elsewhere ?

The placement of the end stage of the mage frost artifact quest confused me. With some effort you can reach the Great Sea which offers some strange sights.
