    Kezan Exploration (Goblin starting area)

<Walks Through Walls> takes you further away from Kezan, exploring the water surrounding the island. We're getting closer and closer to bringing this Hotrod into Azeroth...

I'm looking to others to help me discover a consistent method to recreate this exploration... as I've only been able to pull it off successfully a few times. Thanks to Keepers of the Secrets as well as Yuzar for the inspiration to explore this zone.

This is how I got out from kezan at level 1.

I found really nice gm to lock my exps as level 1 cause I were saying that I would love to be a level 1 twink as goblin but after few quests done in Kezan you cant do further quests cause there is 3 req quest on the way. So my friend flyhacked me to lost isles where is every quest level 1 req. My friend were leveling a goblin at the same time and helping me. I was able to leave lost isles as level 1 + having full greenie gears and even blue bracers. I were critting about 100+ as level 1 rogue and about 80 with the rocket racial. I've seen someone fly hack to the Lost Isles from Kezan with the Hotrod... and their Lost Isles had no NPCs... it was like a phased zone. This is where my confusion came from...confused how you got the different results. The only difference that I can think of is the XP locking... this needs further research! +rep for your time.

Thanks Dellion for posting this... looking more interesting by the minute!

Just noticed you said this. Ah, so that is the key! Thanks very much for clarifying!

I finally got around to logging back on Wow to give this exploration a shot... and found that it has nothing to do with whether you are speed boosting or not. Instead, simply get invited to a guild while on the hotrod and it will become impossible for you to dismount! (Typing /leavevehicle, trying to click off the buff, and jumping in water won't dismount you.) In fact when you re-log your character will still be wherever it was when you got invited, leading me to think that this is a second world/dc world.

While this means that the exploit doesn't help get the hotrod off of Kezan, it does raise some questions of whether it works with all vehicles (could you use this to explore TB?) Anyway nice find Trokair, it is an enjoyable exploration! =P

Edit: (Theory) Thinking about this some more, there is a small time window where you can swim with the hotrod: you have it in the water about half a second before it dismounts you. Maybe if you accepted the invite to the guild as you were in the time frame, you could swim through the air with the hotrod (fly)? Just a thought.

Edit 2: I couldn't get it to work with vehicles in WG, so probably hotrod only.

This is very interesting to me...

As I said above, when my friend hacked to Lost Isles after using my method (bugging the HotRod underwater), he reached a phased Lost Isles with no NPCs or quests.

But clearly (by the other videos linked above) you can reach Lost Isles with the HotRod by just using a flyhack, and then you do get the NPCs and quests...

...so you just solved my mystery, Thundathigh (and +rep to you for it!)... my underwater HotRod bugging only glitches the game into an Otherworld scenario. So we can get the HotRod out of Kezan using hacks... but I'm still not closer to getting it out by just using glitches.

    Back to the drawing board!

Woah don't be so hasty to abandon this glitch! While its true that its not going to really help get the Hot rod out of Kezan, it does have some interesting exploration abilities...

If you create a macro "/removeaura Hot Rod" and bind it to a key (not a 1-9 key) and hit it while the Hot Rod is glitched out, instead of dismounting the hot rod will just freeze in the air, as if you landed on the ground. You won't fall, can re-aim the car, and when you choose to start moving forward again you go at full speed. Using the speed boost from the Hot Rod, and the macro about a second or two after I started moving (so I wouldn't build up too much downwards speed), in one jump I was able to jump from where where you get the Hot Rod all the way down into the ocean: its like a free slow fall. But more than that, you can reorient yourself after hitting the macro: it lets you steer around corners while 'slowfalling' in the air!

So... who wants to climb to the top of the volcano without using hacks? =P

You also lose the party ensemble after going out sadly, there goes the prospect of bank alts :P

Ah but the actual costume stays on, I accidentally teleported and d/c'ed though so I'm waiting for a GM to fix it before moving
