How to get to Zandalari Island

I have discovered a way to visit the Zandalari Island near Pandaria. To visit it, find the invisible wall leading to the island, place a Puntable Marmot behind the wall and then as fast as you can, right click the marmot before he falls to the bottom of the ocean and you will run straight through the wall, allowing you to fly to the island. Also, if you are a rogue you can simply Shadowstep the marmot.

From what i found there is 3 temple like structures, a mini village, some ruins and a lake.
Note that some areas of the island are extremely foggy.

Flew out there before. I don't know how you were able to see the marmot with all that mist covering the area.

The invisible wall is on the way to the island, youll be able to notice where it is.
Name plates and quick reflexes, might take practice, the best place to attempt this is at Shan'ze Dao, the most Northern isle in Townlong Steppes.

I just went to take a look at this. It seems like a planned raid. The big building does, the rest may just be a new zone to accompany it.

The puntable marmot is just awesome. I also explored back there with the marmot, and it is difficult to punt it before it falls down the ocean, but possible. +4rep for the discovery.

As for the island, it is probably going be like what Isle of Quel'danas was, in that it will include new heroic instance(s) and a new raid. Not sure of which patch, could be 5.1, or could be the last patch, but it does seem to be dealing a lot around the Zandalari Trolls and their quest to conquer Pandara.

This is a great exploration! I didn't realize what the Zandalari Island was all about at first... but as Teryaki says, this is probably the current expansions equivalent of the Isle of Quel'danas.

Such an awesome thing to see it before release. Wicked use of the puntable marmot! +7 rep for you.

Here's a way to make this easy. Thanks to OP for discovery of using this method to reach Zandalari Island and thanks to Teriyaki2 for showing me the true potential of this item. +2 for OP. Would have repped Teriyaki2 but I have to spread.

First, go into Key Bindings and find interact with target. Bind it to any key of your wish. How to get to Zandalari Island-lslhp-jpg

Now, simple create a macro: /target Puntable Marmot
Drag it onto any key of choice.
Now, summon your Puntable Marmot, press the macro and then press the key you bound to interact with target.

Is this fixed? Whenever I use my marmot at the invisible wall, it says "no path available"

I haven't been able to use the marmot for a week now. Maybe I'm not doing it right but it appears to be fixed. Then again I saw Teryaki2s video in Silvermoon and it seems to be working for him.

The marmot is a very tricky thing to use. I always have a hard time with it for some reason. It does indeed still work (and hopefully after the maintenance today.) I use this above macro that Elektropop posted when I am trying to get behind doors. Note that the marmot does not let you go though EVERY door or invisible wall, only some. Just test it out at different distances and spots as well, I know the cooldown is 10 minutes so that is a bit of let down, but just keep trying and maybe it will go through the wall!
