This is my Mount Hyjal exploration video for 5.0.5 including Tonk controllers and offline mode!

Those flying fish can be seen in Old hillsbrad too I actually did this a different way by going over the mountains to reach the gas. Nice job finding a second route!

Ha! Thanks for making me a video, my friend. Always good to see people checking out new tricks (the offline mode, the tonk controller glitch, etc).

As for your method... I do not believe Rocket Boots or Offline Mode are necessary to reach this location on Live. Try jumping from a different spot into Hyjal... for instance, try going from the spot that Omo uses in this video:

I imagine there is not enough time for the server to actually disconnect you if you jump from this point... so you can probably make it to Hyjal this way and still have all your spells & abilities intact. Again, thanks for sharing!

You can shadowstep almost all friendly targets now. I don't remember being able to do that, so it must be a MoP addition.
