All you need for this is the pirate hat from a rare NPC in Vashj'ir:
Burgy Blackheart's Handsome Hat - Item - World of Warcraft

Im surprised that this hasn't been posted yet, sorry if it has already been found. I see alot of videos here with people logging out a back in, when this works fine. Very nice trick if you have this item, if not, it shouldn't be too hard to get.

Note: This will only work with mounts, meaning you cant use it in Deadmines for example.

Haha, happy camping! Took me a couple days before I was able to catch the rare spawn... but it was at a time when others on the server were camping it as well. Good luck!

Quick correction in the ops post: Burgy Blackheart and his handsome hat are available in Vashjir, not Deepholm.

Related: BB's hat can be worn at any level! though getting a low level character to Vashjir may be more difficult now that HGWT has been removed from the game though you could fly them out there on a sandstone/nightwing/rocket (and you can totally make landfall in EK from Vashjir before fatigue kills you. i've flown from vashjir to Gilnaes previously.

I think this does not work for land mounts. Tried a variety of land mounts and won't work. Only flying mounts work for me.
