Walljumping Fixed? [Again]

Something interesting I think a lot of you did not know, your keyboard makes a HUGE difference when wall jumping off when you are stuck on the wall. I was wall jumping in End Time in 5.0.4 with my brother using Cruvens route, I was convinced I was failing because of my aim. After about an hour in there I was convinced my brother was better than me at wall jumping, a little bit longer and I started getting suspicious, I asked him if we could switch computers because I wanted to see if it was easier with his keyboard. After 20 minutes, I was able to jump off walls 90% easier and my brother was struggling. I was able to get to Dalaran with barely any fails, I made it to the summit with only jumping and no rocket boots or slow fall while my brother was stuck about quarter of the way up. I went back to my computer and I couldn't wall jump nearly as good as I could on his keyboard. The whole time I have been wall jumping since vanilla I was convinced that it was timing w+space and your aim. I'm guessing the expensive keyboards don't require you to sync that as well as on a cheaper key board.

I'm giving up wall jumping because it is too frustrating on my key baord compared to my brothers. I don't know what it is about his keyboard whether it is the response time or what ever. I thoroughly tested his keyboard for wall jumping compared to mine, and it was an insane difference.

So guys, what key boards are you using. ESPECIALLY CRUVEN xD

Your keyboard have NOTHING to do with wallclimbing. However what it requires is a low latency but most keyboard have that. I use like a 10-20$ keyboard and it miss like 5 buttons.
Also your brother better not macro jump!

I am not crazy. I thoroughly tested on both keyboards. His keyboard was insanely noticeable wall climbing with. I could make so many jumps I couldn't with my keyboard. My keyboard isn't the cheapest but his is more expensive than mine. What is it about his keyboard???

Don't give us that crap man, you're one of the better ones at wall climbing and you've been doing it for a long time. Save up for your brother's keyboard.

He means try your brother's keyboard on your computer, and your keyboard on your brother's computer. It may be the computer's response time to the keyboard, not the keyboard.itself.



Very curious to continue this discussion! I won't use the 3rd party programs to be good at jumping... but I would buy a new keyboard.

Yeah I've tested with different keyboards, finally comfortable with the Razer Lycosa Razer Lycosa Mirror Gaming Keyboard - Illuminated Keyboard ..but yeah on different computers my walljumping honestly does seem to vary.

What you also need to take into consideration is that if you have higher frames per second (FPS) you might wallclimb better.

Yeah agreed. I rely on mount jumping anymore, can't seem to stick more than 10 normal jumps, even with great (FPS) and jumps.

Our FPS is around the same. I haven't tried his keyboard with my computer, I'll give that a go when I next can.
