I used the tram less than 10 times in 5 years so i have no real idea on where to start ^^
But i'll keep trying ! I tested some stuff around the portal without any success, i guess i'll have to try something elsewhere.

Just wait for dellion, trokair and the others to send their video, i'm sure they can do it without any hint

People wo have already done it, please name only your character class! Because i tried to do so many times! I have already been in aquarium, i tried with darkmoon tiger, i tried with shadowstep to pets, tried to disconnect in portal before loading, to jump on an invisible roof. I havent got any ideas!) I think its impossible!! Maybe i will switch class and it will help me!

You DONT need to be ANY class to do it the way i did

@DanteLarka, you have to get to the mechanism in the instanced Ironforge... You must be INSIDE Deeprun Tram and do it and please don't post "clues" or "hints" before recieving confirmation from me that you have done that.

What is more difficult? To get in this room or in mechanism?

As a warrior, couldn't you aggro a rat, d/c past the portal, and then charge to get past? Or even a rogue, use the trinket to gain a friendly pet who fights for you, and just shadowstep past... Idk I'm just thinking of some ideas here. I did go there with my priest and mananged to get to one of the top pillars, but elixir of giant growth's don't seem to get me past the ceiling.

afaik, you can't dc past portal... This was fixed in 5.0.4! Dellion posted a detailed thread with videos that shows what is fixed and a new method of glitching through walls. http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...tches-ptr.html (Fixed/Unfixed glitches on PTR)

I hope LuckLuka doesn't mind my minor thread hijack... but I know all my exploration buddies will read this thread, and I didn't want to start a new one...

My internet is dead. My daughter spilled a glass of water on my modem. The timing obviously sucks... I just hit 1K subs on my YouTube and I wanted to play with the new restrictions/changes of 5.0.4 over this long weekend... but no luck. I have no idea how long it will take Verizon to get me a new modem but it will not be overnight. I can still read this forum occasionally from here in the office, but I will not be able to put up videos or respond to much for this week. Hopefully I'll be back soon! I miss y'all.

And to put this back on topic... I have only reached instanced Ironforge using the Darkmoon Tiger or the Aromatic Honey Brew... so I have no idea how LuckLuka and ParceQueFraiSe have done it! Good luck to all contest participants!

I won't need just simple configuration... will probably need a new modem. I don't provide the modem, my provider does... but they won't send me a new one until they troubleshoot the issue over the phone first. I've been offline since Thursday of last week. That "simple call to tech support" will take hours. Customer service at the finest! No worries... I have my wife on the call today while I'm here in the office. Hopefully she works it all out quickly.
