The Explorer's Scrolls

A story of a young traveler wandering into scholomance searching for new knowledge, when suddenly, behind an old bookcase he finds a plethora of scrolls titled the "Explorer's Scrolls". This series is just phenomenal. I can't say enough about it.

The concept is respectable and admirable, and the execution was flawless. After watching this, you were immediately added to the 10 'Featured Explorers' listed on my own YouTube channel.

What a way to keep the torch going!! I guarantee that KOTS would be proud. I haven't had a moment to watch #4 yet, but I have it bookmarked for the moment I get home tonight. Amazing wall jumping skills on the Chapter 5 video. Seriously, I wish I could learn to jump like that. I always fall. I can do one or two jumps, and only using the mount-jump-dismount method... never more than two jumps, and never as easy as you make it look in your videos. So damn impressive.

#6 was a wicked interlude for the series. Made me smile.

The reason when the shadow quality is on low and you can see the shadow is because WoW didn't have active shadows.. They weren't rendered, the ground was actually textured darker to look like a shadow. Meaning that normally there would have been an object there casting that shadow. When you put it back to Ultra they are being rendered based on an object and light source.. No object, no shadow. If that makes sense.

Also because back then there were statues and tauren huts that were shaped like the shadows. See i didnt show it but there was an area with a spinning windmill, just like old thousand needles had on one of the islands. I understand that technically they were textured darker, but the fact that them being there when almost unnecessary is just a bit strange. Some of the shapes seem to be apart of something else as well, just thought of it as an overall obscured event. If you want to view it as a deep message thats fine, but I was showing two things. 1. These odd little "shadow" patterns and 2. An easy way to access the outskirts of Zul'Farrak.

Ah, taking some liberties with the lore I see! What do they call that... um... poetic license! Some may take issue with it, but I thought it brought something to the table in this video, so I give it thumbs up.

This Wizard has spent his fair share of time forgotten in the dusty libraries of Azeroth... no telling where I've left my mark, I tell ye!

They aren't upset with the video, they are upset with me. And in this position, all they can do is ridicule it. Which, on my part, is understandable. Because in the end it was my fault for being a bit out of line.
