[Glitch] Quest flypath relocation

There is this quest: The Pinnacle of Learning . When accepting it, you get transformed into some kind of arcane beam which flies to another location in Azshara. Now when I was doing this I used hearthstone and clicked "accept" just 0.5 sec before HS cast was finished. As a result I got to orgrimmar but I was transformed into this beam and automaticly flied all the way back to Azshara and it went through mountains too etc.

Now I thought that was cool but I wanted to finish the quest chain so I completed the quest(if you abandon it you can fly again) and decided to try it later with another char. But for some reason I can't get it to work anymore with different character, I tried different HS locations and with portal and teleport but no luck. The only time when I managed to clitch it was on my first try with undead engineer warlock with HS set to Valley of Wisdom.

I'm not sure what is needed to make it work again, maybe need to be very lucky with the timing, try with lag or etc. If one could repeat this clitch it might have interesting possibilities with some other similar situations too.

I don't know what has changed but now this works almost every time. I couldn't make it work outside Kalimdor though. Here's a demonstration video:

Did you try disconnecting while hovering OVER THE GROUND and see if it becomes controlable?

I did try to DC couple times, can't remember exact locations but when logging back I'm just at some nearest graveyard and the beam is gone. Also tried to enter couple BG's and dungeons without success. Who knows there could more to do with it, but I can't currently test it more extensively.
