Halls of Origination end quest scene glitch

Hi.

First real post here, so go easy on me. I searched for a while but couldn't find this posted elsewhere.

I noticed something strange today. I was doing Halls of Origination and after delivering the last quest to Brann at the third floor I teleported out just as the movie was about to start.
I figured it would just cancel the movie but the movie actually started anyway, except this time it took place from where I entered the dungeon (Twilight Highlands in this case). The camera started going in one direction cutting through everything in its way, even the ground. I sat there for about 1-2 minutes before I finally hit escape and chose to cancel the movie. Next thing I know I'm in a loading screen once more and then getting dropped in Hillsbrad Foothills from about 300 yards in the air.

Sorry there's no movie, but I wasn't really prepared for it.

I realize this might be the wrong section to post this in, but I couldn't really decide where this might belong. If any of you are about to do the last quest in Halls of Origination (Doing it the Hard Way - Quest - World of Warcraft) please try to do the same as I did and see if you get dropped somewhere different if you enter from a different location or wait longer / shorter to cancel the movie. Who knows, maybe we'll discover something

Ps: bring a parachute or similar effect

I am intrigued by this! I have not completed the quest yet... so I am looking forward to trying this when I do.

So many questions.... where was the camera flying to when you cancelled it? Trying to fly back to Halls of Origination, perhaps? How would the camera have handled the trip across the ocean, I wonder. Also, how would the camera have handled it if you started in a more closed off location, like Deepholme, or even the Malestrom?

I am glad you find it useful, I was rather intrigued myself. Luckily I have another character who is about to start questing in Uldum so eventually I will get to the quest again.

When it happened to me yesterday I was standing at the Enchanting Shard vendor facing north, and the camera turned west and started moving. I remember going through a big crater before I cancelled the movie.
