^^ Currently, mind you. There have been times in WoW's history where it was possible without hacks... such as last year's brief Hallow's End glitch with the Flying broom...I believe someone even did a video of this on OwnedCore, if I look around. I wouldn't doubt if, someday, somehow, it will be possible without hacks again.

    This is easy.

Quel'danas island and the whole Ghostlands + the Belf starter is in Outlands continent, that is a reason why you cant fly. It has not been remade(the ghostlands and stuff to be flyable) because it would take alot of effort and time from Outlands and etc, putting in the actual Azeroth.

Also Draenei islands are also not flyable due to that reason too.

So Draenei Islands + Ghostlands and Belf Zone + Quel'Danas Island are all in the same continent as Outlands.

To know this, i went from Outlands to Draenei islands and Outlands to Quel'Danas in 3.3.5a.

And it's still the same as of 4.3.4, not sure about MoP Beta tho.

Oh, I'm aware believe me. That is why Hallow's End is the time for exploring, but when I say parallel plains I mean the loading screen. If you look, CoT instances all have the same loading screens, because they are all parallel on a "plain", meaning they are all in the same general atmosphere. Lets say, for some reason, I am able to fly on a broom in Old Hillsbrad. If I fly in the right direction, and long enough, I will reach Black Morass or Hyjal. This also applies to worlds, such as Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, and now to the source of this discussion, Outlands. Outlands shares a loading screen with the blood elf region, and the dranaei region. You are able to use the broom, or any other sort of hack to bypass the blue walls, and eventually fly into the other "plain" since they are parallel to one other. So, when I say "loading screen" I mean it is literally impossible to get from Eastern Kingdoms to Kalimdor. Believe me, I spent 4 hours flying with a friend of mine beyond the outer-edges of the map and beyond, just a whole bunch of beautiful blue skies!

Nope. Kalimdor is instance 0, while EK is instance 1. It is not possible to reach one from the other without passing through a loading screen. Same goes for CoT-instances.
It is however correct that Azuremyst/Bloodmyst, Outlands and Eversong woods/GL/Quel'danas is in the same instance; you can here reach one from the other.

This is so wrong on so many levels.
Just because some instances share the same loading screen doesn't mean that they are on the same map. The first three CoT instances are on separate maps even if they share the same loading screen.

The Emerald Dream and Pandaria share the same loading screen. If we follow your logic, they are on the same map. Which is, of course, false. The same goes for the Hellfire Citadel instances, Coilfang Reservoir instances, Auchindoun instances and Tempest Keep instances.

If I'm not mistaken, the only case in which you are right is, the current Monastery instances (the ones in MoP will be in separate maps)

Dire Maul is (or was) actually in same instance, I think. I remember walking from North DM to West DM in WotLK. I haven't been there in years, so I'm perhaps wrong.

Whatever you say, maybe I am wrong, but I have been outside of scarlet monestary, outside of Dire Maul, and the Auchindoun instances. I was able to go into each dire maul dungeon, each scarlet monestary dungeon, and each auchindoun instance (with flight) because they are what I described. Now I have never gone between Hyjal and Old Hillsbrad, but believe me when I say I used to be drawn to going beyond blue walls, thats all I used to do because it was so easy back then. I went to numerous places, and I know what I saw, what I did, and where I went. I understand that you are an esteemed explorer, but I know what I've done. I don't mean to seem crabby, but I feel attacked when I am accused of being dead wrong, no point of being right whatsoever, and then laughed at by a blasphemous comment that has rhetorical meaning...I really don't appreciate it.

I didn't mean to be rude, and if I was, then I am sorry, this was not my intent.

    Thing is.
All of the BC instances are on different maps :

The Auchindoun ones, Coilfang, Hellfire and Tempest Keep AND the CoT instances (CavernsOfTime is Black Morass)

I don't know when or where I was, but I specifically remember a time where I flew from Mana-Tombs to Sethekk Halls on a friends server. Maybe the BC instances aren't like that, but I know the classic ones are! And the worlds, like Outlands and Azuremist. Maybe this changed, or maybe it didn't, either way thank you for showing me the list of maps.

Well, this is something very intriguing that shouldn't be possible on live realms. The client contains the list of the map#IDs that are used by the server :

    They are all separated.

The classic ones are tied yes, you're right : the 4 Monastery instances are on one map, and the 3 Dire Maul ones on one map.

Outland and Azuremyst/Eversong Woods is a very different case.
When BC launched, you couldn't create or access the draenei/blood elves zones if you did'nt purchase the extension. To prevent exploits, Blizzard put the starting zones of the new races and Outland on one map. Which gives us this :

The very big area is Outland, in the northeast it's Eversong Woods / Ghostlands / Quel'Danas, and at the est of Outlands is Azuremyst/Bloodmyst Isle
