[Exploration] Naxxramas (instanced EPL) rocket boots & wall jumps!

It is time for the ultimate exploration of the Naxxramas raid. Are you ready for the NAXX-PLORATION?

I use the traditional way to break out of Naxx, a giant growth in Sapphiron's Lair. The video soon becomes anything but traditional after a quick visit to the old Light's Hope Chapel... you then find The Wizard wall-climbing up steep mountains to show you hardest to reach areas of the instance. I spent many hours running around in here. It was difficult to edit the footage down to the 15 or so minutes I end up with. I hope you enjoy the show and it inspires you for your own adventures in Naxxramas.

Hehe.. you're not an explorer, you're an expwner. I love this place, I've been there very often, not only to explore.. I never gave up the hope to find a second naxxramas with the old bosses and the damn ashbringe.But if you haven't found it, it doesn't exist, I think!

Um, Yeah. Im working on this... Does the portal still work in Stratholme behind the gates? Because I think I found a way in, I only found out how to pass the first invisible wall in front of the gate, As if you see. When you try to go and touch the gate (Run up to it all the way) I see a invisible wall is blocking it? I found out how to get pass that, but the gate itself is another story.

Afaik portals to naxxramas were :
- above a ziggurath before cataclysm
- Under stratholme early after cataclysm. ( Re: OotHE - Raw Video: Howto Old Naxx - YouTube ) Last time i checked, i didn't find it but i might have went the wrong way.
- In stratholme (both instanced and non instance iirc) => The green portal as you saw in the video

None of them is working.
A guy logged out before cataclysm in naxxramas. When he logged in he was still under EPL in front of the portals to the old naxxramas (but they sent you to the one in dragonblight) : What happens if you're left in naxx after 3.0? - YouTube
Unfortunately it's impossible to get there now.

Btw did you guys did the quest for the attunement ?

Nice vid, man! One of my favorite instanced zones to hang out in and show people, but you hit several high spots I've never been to before. Well done! The night elf ruin outside of EPL is awesome!

Edited to add: I got my old Naxx attunement! I have all the visible pieces of my T3 too, it's what I always used to wear before xmog. Also, I STILL can't give rep to you wiz. Sigh.

No, the only way to access Naxxramas was to take the ziggourat (and of course have the attunement completed).
What you can see in Stratholme is an early idea of something that got forgotten. Remember when you could only access Molten Core by going through the portal in Blackrock Depths ? Blizzard added Lothos Riftwalker so you could teleport inside MC. Remember the portal in Upper Blackrock Spire ? When BWL was released you could go to the raid by clicking on the orb, but the portal was still active. However the portal in Stratholme was never active.

The ziggourat was in the plaguelands before WotLK.
After LK came out, it was moved here, deeply under the map (in game, from my 3.3.5a sandbox)
This disappeared when Cata came out.

Concerning the video, it's simple : when LK came out, the instance was not changed : everything stayed identical to what it was before : the map, the building in which the instance was built.. The only thing that changed was the level of the mobs (and the difficulty of the instance by the way ) (which means that the old version of Naxxramas is truly no longer accessible) So when the character logs in after patch 3.0, he was in the same instance.

Inside the instance, when you look to the sky there is old naxx floating there. I wonder if there is a way of rocket boots + slowfallibg into it

The same model of Naxx is used in the uninstanced Stratholme. There you can fly and it's unfortunately a non solid model.

^^ Although I've seen a video of someone using Hacks in Naxxramas to fly... and they seemed to land on the model in the 'Naxx Stratholme'.... so I think that one may be solid!

I've tried getting high enough on the snowy mountains to rocketboot/slowfall to the top of the ziggurat myself... but haven't been successful... yet.

Tried aswell, could'nt get to it, so I used fly hack and it wasn't solid
