[Map Exploration] Odd & Peculiar Locations (Update)

Hey there its been a long time since ive posted here but after accepting a SoR ive returned with some old-school map exploration. This entails the exploration of solitary locations aswell as the outer mountainous edges of continents like the good old days ofc this time its alot easier with flying mounts. I would like to apologize in advance if the locations are already known or involved in certain quests, i am a returning player and havnt as of yet levelled a character since cata release

Stonetalon Campsite
A random solitary camp site within the hills. There is also what appears to be a young kodo skeleton near the camp

Lonely Stonebench
A peculiar stone bench that sits on the mountain cliffs outside of Moonglade

Fishing Trip Gone Wrong
Looks like someone set out to fish but something fowl happened. There is also a crashed gnomish plane sunken in the lake

Shroom Circle
I have since found out the location has a special event timer every 6 or so hours (Link below if you are unaware)

The Oracle's Orb
Inside this hollow tree trunk lies a mysterious Orb on a stone table

Lakeside Locale
Between the borders of Ashenvale and Stonetalon lies this small lake and Tauren canoe. The lake dosnt appear on the world map

Mountain Lake
Above the Goblin operations at Cragpool is this lovely secluded lake with its own island. There is a wooden hut and interestingly some sunken Nightelf ruins

I really liked the fishing spot, the worms are moving, it's quite funny to watch ^^

Open places not displayed on the map are easy to miss, that's nice of you to post them !

Like Nyarly, I knew the last two (you actually linked my Mushroom Circle video, thank you ), but I did not know the first two spots.

Since the Cataclysm struck, they have added a TON of new little camps like this in the mountainous areas between zones. I explored these areas before Cataclysm (highlighted in my ESS series on my YouTube channel), and have been meaning to go back to those areas, knowing that all of them have been filled in with cool spots like you show here. Some of the camps have been shown here on OwnedCore, but I would think that the majority has not been. This is something that you could be the champion of, Grassynole, if you were willing. Might make a great exploration goal, and you could perhaps continue to update this thread with them.

Hunters Hovel
Situated on the borders of Feralas lies this pleasant Tauren hunters shack beside a small loch (which is surprisingly deep)

A.... urr strange tauren structure with what looks like a huge smoking pipe. Located between the borders of Stonetalon & Northern Barrens

Heres a few more. I assume being as Npc's are searchable most of you are aware of the bear camp.

Black Bears & Barrels of Beer
You may remember the Black Bear that used to roam around near Ironforge Airport, well it appears they found a new home here. Not quite sure how they lit the camp fire tho.

Forest Camp
Similar to the landscape of Trisfal thier plan seems to be to fill in large spaces of deadzone with forest areas. In the far west of Dun Morogh lies this small encampment located in a pine forest

Seems as if some of the locations are known from Warcraft Less Traveled Though they are not the ones finding everything. Still, i enjoyed the pictures and i hope you have good future time in WoW +2 rep
