First, start here:


Then, stand here and use your mount/dc macro


Fly down far enough to avoid running into anything stupid, especially water (it will DC you)


Now, you're going to want to fly directly below where this red dot is, then fly straight up.


You will probably DC more than once when you hit the water, but just keep logging in and spamming the spacebar during the loading screen.
Eventually you'll dismount in the water and be able to jump up into the arena!

There's a spot where you can fly "under Dalaran" without mount bug/dc macro next to the tailoring trainer.

Thanks Calcifer. I must spread reputation before giving more to you again, but I appreciate your contribution here! Although things of this nature should probably be posted in the Mount/DC through walls sticky-thread.

There are much easier ways to do this exploration. As Electropop mentioned, you can get 'under Dalaran' without even glitching through walls (there is a hidden hole in the outer wall). It is also advised to come into the Arena from above, rather than below, to avoid the water and the whole Disconnecting thing you experienced (water between walls is BAD!). However, I had never thought of going through that angled tunnel wall, and I do appreciate your clear screenshots and easy-to-follow instructions.
