At long last, our movie is finally released ! We would like to apologise for all the delays, and we hope that you will easily forgive us for the time it took

Firstly, a word from Aléquia :

Have you ever thought about reaching the horizon ? We never have. We prefer to go across the horizon.

Exploration is an activity that appeared at the beginning of World of Warcraft. It's an "alternative" way of playing the game, mainly based on the pleasure of discovering. Go where most of the other player probably won't ever go.

Some people said that Cataclysm would kill exploration with flying mounts allowed on the old continents.
Across the Horizon is here to prove the opposite. We wish to show that there are still people exploring, that it still offers new surprises, and mainly that exploration will only be dead when there'll be no one to maintain the flame. As a proof, this movie is made with explorations existing in Cataclysm only.

AtH is a collaborative project filmed by the members of the Royal IdP Essploring Fundation, and edited by Zhao. It is also the first movie entirely dedicated to our members.
It follows the rules and traditions of our creations. This means that it was entirely made on live realms, without hacks, and it was filmed with an "aesthetic" goal.

Watch this video as a magic show. Or, if you prefer, as the memories of a band of egocentric freaks who enjoy watching themselves in unconventional places.

After all, as our motto says, if the world knows no limits, so does our ego.

But the first 6 minutes are great, nice exploration of the worgen starting zone if i'm right ! You got me really curious with the teleporter and chair thing

Good god this development map should be shared too. I can understand why ways shouldn't be shared so that blizzard couldn't fix them but there's no way to fix a model edit..

Yes, there is a lot of development in this movie, but there is also 2 or 3 things that have never been seen before that do NOT belong to Development.

Oh, and yes, it is extremely easy to fix model editing, a lot more than fixing a path to GM Island

But that is only the ADT's - Are you planning on releasing a ready-to-use MPQ, or will this be kept unreleased in order to promote the model-editors that are capable of making one?

Absolutely amazing. I clapped at the end. I freakin' clapped, sitting in my chair.

If I have ever said a bad thing about RIdPEF in the past about keeping their methods to themselves... I take it all back. I was wrong. Y'all do this for the right reasons, and I applaud this video. Highly entertaining and inspirational.

And the music and editing in this movie are by far the best I have ever seen in a YouTube video. Phenomenal. I've been DJing records for nearly 15 years, and I can't wait to seek out some of the songs you have here. And the editing just worked along with the music better than I have ever witnessed before. So much effort, so wonderfully executed.

Thank you for this. Well worth the wait. (And +4rep, even though that is probably not your thing.)


*edit: I enjoy including a few odd WoW glitch movies here and there on my YouTube channel... but I have been doing far too many of them lately. This movie reminds me to get back to my core... straight up exploration. I think for my next video release I will have to find some new place to explore and share with the community...
