Well, simply by casting Far Sight (or Eagle's Eye) out of the ship -__-

^^^Perhaps I'm missing something then, having never stepped foot in Dragon Soul myself... and not having a toon with Eagle's Eye myself...

When I watch these "far sight" explorations, they usually involve putting a marker on the ground and then your sight 'zooms' to that location. Usually you can see all around you, and there's ground, sky... it looks like you are actually there.

This image... I just don't get it... there is a sun in the background and fog in the air....but then the bubble in the middle of the screen with the clouds and the airship looks all "fish-eyed"... and I've never seen that fish-eye effect with Far Sight...

So this is why I asked for a video showing how he got the Far Sight to this point... seems like it must have took several 'jumps'... and I'd like to see at what point the camera goes wonky fish-eye view...

Hope some of that made sense...I tend to ramble...

Well i was confused too trokair but i went there yesterday and it's really just one or two casts. Its weird but the zone is made this way...

Yes, this small portion of the instance is made that way : a bubble containing the sky, the sea and the gunship. You can cast Far Sight / Eagle's Eye very far, but you'll "only" see this

Question is how can you far sight when theres no ground to put the far sight AOE circle on way out there? Unless you using some sort of hacks or packet modification..
