    Has everywhere been found?

First off, sorry if this is the wrong section, didn't know where too post it.
I recently started watching a lot off exploration vids and had a thought. There are places like GM island that are so far away and hard to get too that it made me wonder if every in game has actually been found. Would it be possibly that there could be places like developers island that are way past the edge off the sea waiting to be found?

Everything has not been found... otherwise we wouldn't be here.

Things like Islands off the edge of the seas have all been found, because people use things like map viewers or hacks to pull apart the files and look everywhere.

Things like secret rooms, hidden areas under buildings, hidden buildings under zones, areas between walls, etc etc, are constantly being found.

Just take a look at this forum for proof! New stuff being found all the time.

(PS - this forum has a "no questions" rule... stuff like this should be posted in the General forum)

Because people have been analyzing the maps with tools made for this, it is very unlikely that there are still unexplored zones. I'm not talking about maps or areas that are not implemented in the client, we obviously don't have access to those if Blizzard don't include it in the files we have access to. However, for the client-side maps, what is still being found are buildings, hidden rooms (like Trokair said) and such places, not entire areas.

Maps dont show what's inside buildings, under the ground and small objects. So no, everything has not been found.

    Very small examples :
You might have never saw theses
    - A door outside of blackrock dephts. http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/9...2911231549.jpg
    - A pyramid right under Sartharion. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/4960/...2911233633.jpg http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/8...2911233650.jpg
(made on my local private server so i didn't share this before because private server explorations with gm commands are bad )

Yep, it's very small discoveries but it's old content. You just don't know what's kept hidden behind the next door until you open it

Just the other day I found a "secret room" in the Sunfury Spire that I don't think anyone has accessed previously...

*edit: ...and Dellion's recent exploration of Grim Batol is completely new, afaik:

Looks like the Graphics Developers aren't very good at cleaning up the mess they make aye! Lazy blizzard.

In regards to the OP, It is very hard to discover the entire map due to the sheer size of it. Every patch there are new little small bits of map being added and buildings being changed. Most of the places found are posted here and It's a very active part of the forum so if you find anywhere than post it so we can check it out too!

This was something I found out a while ago, and I had never seen anyone ever mention it before, nor still mention it to this day. You'd get there differently of course now, but if the building's still there...
