Reason why its not in the Model Editing Section because hes saying he went their on live servers without model edits.Their is a well known model edit floating around in which Emerald Dream replaces eastern kingdom with Emerald Dream Map and you have to stand somewhere in Eastern Plaguelands and you will fall into The Emerald Forest. On a side note my reputation matches Emerald Dream MAP ID I am a cool kid.

He actually said he went there on a live server using "the same method that has always worked"... that would be Model Edits.

Clearly it is causing confusion, so I just suggested moving it to a more appropriate forum, that's all. I don't want to cause drama ITT, as it is a great video which I repped, so I'll leave it at that.

The 'real' textures have always been there. You just need to apply the following settings to make them visible on any version of the client:

After reading this I came to the conclusion you accessed the area with model edits - which ain't really so interesting at all.

If you are, however, referring to the 'green smoke' area trigger exploit - that has been proven not to work multiple times.

the most recent modification is (I think) one or two flowers models that have been added. If I remember well, it was Xel who noticed that,

God damnit this thread made me almost cry. I cant remember the last time I rode through elven forest at night...I really miss riding through ashenvale in vanilla with rogues looking to gank you at every corner, hearing the rallying cry of the alliance defending its forest....I'm gonna do this as soon as servers are up.

What on earth is going on with MMOwned lately? I've only seen 1/4 original content these days, and the rest are repeats or not even supposed to be classified under Exploration. As everyone is saying, yes, unless Blizzard has changed their coding in the actual file for Emerald Dream, absolutely nothing has changed except the files that are shared like the flowers - the textures haven't changed unless they're just like actual ones used. You would always use either model editing to go there or some sort of hack to teleport there unless you were lucky enough to /worldport there as OP said in a PTR.

I remember when we all first found the new skin, it had something to do with fiddling around the graphics settings setting them lower or something to make the textures visible. Not to be harsh, but there's nothing new with this, and it's annoying to see the same things rehashed over and over again. Please do a little more background checking before you make new posts. Yes, I'm frustrated, sorry.
