Jaburius asked me to post on Mmowned since hes account is bugged or somefing like that.

This does not show you how to do it. But we want to tell you that there is hope. GM Island is not lost.

Really. Redone? More like lost texture. Looks like his private server failed to quite emulate WoW, rather than Blizzard removed ground texture.

Also, really, what's with the Harry Potter theme? (motorbike, dwarf with giant beard, and elfy potter at the back seat.)

So...Ummmm....BTW just letting you know this is not a private sever GM Island is now actually untextured on Live Server since 4.0.1.

I'm no troll. There are absolutely no, zero in total stable Cataclysm servers. It is most probable that he, pardon the term, ****ed up server creation or somesort. But really, calling this GM Island redone is absolutely ridiculous.

First of all, yes GM Island on current live servers has no grass texture at all, the reason for this is unknown but true, also if you have the new azeroth flying it works in GM Island as well because its part of Kalimdor.
This is a fact proven by people who use hacks to get there.

I just went there using WCD hack and the texture is changed, if you want ill get some screenshots of it.

As you can see in the video there is unmapped space between GM Island and Teldrassil.. But there is water arround the island itself because else it would not be a island ^^

What I meant is: Has the water always extended past the blue barriers? I went there with hacks and you could probably swim from Teldrassil to GM island if you had a way to get past the blue barriers, there is water all the way.

Seriously? Can you even learn how it works before to start claiming you know? The texture isn't related in any way to how the private server works. You don't need a server to load local stored texture files on local stored terrains.
