How to get to Old Ironforge Patch 4.0.3a

Yeah, this is the first time in this patch anyone has ever gotten to Old Ironforge!
Unfortunately, due to the lack of time, I cant post a video yet but I will type out the main idea.

In Ironforge in the Military Quarter there is some sort of an opening for Airplanes to fly up. We will use our Spectral Griphon/Cat form prowling (see below for instructions on how to fly in Azeroth) to fly through the hole, go 200 meters east of Ironforge, go below Ironforge and then, once you're just below Deliana (NPC) fly up and you should end up in the tunnel to Old Ironforge

Now, how DO you fly in Azeroth?

As a non-night-elf race: use the http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...stgriffin.html way to get on a griffon, then take any boat to Eastern Kingdoms and to Ironforge.

As a Night Elf, go to Wetlands and then to the border with Twilight Highlands. Apply the same method as above (the border where you get teleported after passing is actually the big gate, just run into the gate). Any other race except Night Elves can not fly via this method, they just get dismounted after rezzing.

PS.: Night elves can also cast spells, whereas others can't. But they can't:
-Mount up;
-Take a boat like the others, they'll just stop flying.

nice method works well, i managed to get there although i used a fly hack instead :P same old ironforge nothing has changed

The way that was recently posted on MMOwned for 4.0.1 still works, and is much easier.

Still interesting though to know that you can get there using the Spectral Mount. Like Muckle said, nothing has changed since the pillar and brazier additions in 4.0.1.
