Gurubashi Arena, More of a theater?

Everyone has grown used to fighting in the gurubshi arena, but a whoile ago i noticed something: Theres 14 sides on the ring around it, just like the Globe Theater, Where william Shakespeare performed his greatest plays.

Just to clarify, you may not notice the sides, its easier to count them on the outside walls.
