I wonder....is it possible to attack flagged people when they are on gryphons?

Would be kind of epic to attack people on their gryphons.

But I'm afraid they automaticly become unflagged when their on a gryphon, no matter where they are (PvP Zone even) - And when they land, they get flagged again.
