[HD Video] Possibly the coolest looking buff in the game.

I decided to make a video of a very cool looking buff I found a while back while doing my Jewelcrafting daily quest. Not only does the buff substantially increase critical strike rating but it also makes your character pitch black and sparkling (Including whatever mount you're on).

The buff is called metanoia:

They had a bunch of buffs like that back in BC that you would get from bugs.
Or were they debuffs? I can't remember but it was the same effect.

There is a similar looking effect (not buff part) in Zangarmarsh from Blacksting (it is a debuff)

Sorry I'm ranting but you guys are just the last straw on a very tired camels back, you've really reminded me why I stopped browsing these forums lately.

Nobody spends time on their posts anymore, nobody cares when others half ass submissions, flame people for no reason, post whore and whatnot. This forum has been filling with 13-16 year old boys who apparantley have degenerative mental disorders and I honestly feel like I'm the only one who stands up to them.

This thread belongs in 'Exploitation' because it is pointing out exploits within the game, rather than any actual in-game geographics. There is your reason, and you could have scryed the same result with less flaming.

There are younger people who do post here, as you have said, which do not need to be exposed to such language. Even given their age, 'these 13-and-14-year-olds' perhaps may have a heightened maturity, if you had taken into account.

Well I appreciate a well written response (Not just saying that, I really do, it's a breath of fresh air). I'll admit my language was far from mild but as I said it was "The last straw" so to speak and frankly I was pissed off. I also appreciate the suggestion to move this into exploitation but I would receive the same response there as this is by no means an exploit. I used perfectly legal and intended in game mechanics to do what I did in the video, I was just presenting a "Discovery" which I thought was cool. Considering it was something hidden which I saw as a "discovery" I chose to post it under exploration.

To summarize, I think the exploitation forum would garner an even harsher response.

PS: My rant was about far more than the responses to this thread, it was about everything which I think has begun to go wrong with this community as a whole. A community I've enjoyed for a few years now and one which I value enough to care about the direction it's community is headed.

It's alright. Thanks for being mature about the situation. And yes, I do believe that if it ISN'T to be put into Exploitation, it should be under WoW General or here, seeing it is somewhat exploration, in the sense that you're exploring interesting aspects of the game.
