Somehow this reminded me of this![]()
It appears WoW was built with the future in mind, or they are deliberately trying to make us speculate.
after alot of exploring these mountain zones that your not supposed to be able to reach i come to the conclusion that these areas at some time became places for programmers to be creative and test things. ive found places with floating trees, spikes going down into the ground and up out of the ground, waterfalls ect... all in places your not supposed to be able to get to. It makes more sense that this is a case of a programmer screwing around with invis walls and probaly nothing more then that.
Here is a example of a programmer that had some fun with terrain. this is a live 3.3.3 server, i used the no-zone summon to fly then multi box same account till i d/c withought d/c on my end to get around and find places like this.

It IS an invisible wall. It's been there as long as I can remember. The reason that you were occasionally lifting up on it is because that's what happens when running along/into invisible walls, it's the same as getting 'locked' onto a wall from back when the levitate bug worked.
Jesus smokes bud.
its just a normal invi wall
