Gated "Island" in Stormwind - [Levitate]

Hai guys

I recently leveled my priest up just to play with this bug, I'm a huge fan of exploration and its sad we don't get to do it much

So I set my goal to get into that gated "island" thingy in SW (that looks similar to stocks), it took some time and patience, but I finally got there:


looking straight at it beforehand


Now you have to get yourself stuck to the wall about here, this will take some time to get right, so be patient, cast levitate and (hopefully) WIN!


Keep making your way up the wall, watch out for the window there, until you reach the top



and then you can fall right in

Nice place to freak out people... but do we want to risk it? I don't want to lose this

and to get out, just cast levitate and run through one of the white holes, you will end up under stormwind, which we have all seen a million times:

from there you can just run back to the gates of stormwind to get back into the real world

I hope you enjoyed my little guide, it's not very often i find something new (well i know its not "new" but its a new way there) you are all a great inspiration to me

It's not an island it's the Stormwind Vaults and it will be a future instance .

I never said I was the first to get here ever, its just a new way in (well as far as I know anyway)

I believe you used to be able to get in there using a mechano-hog/mammoth/passenger mount a while back, and you could probably get in there with rocketboots/slowfall from a high mountain nearby.

Actually the SW Vault was supposed to be a level 70 instance, but Blizzard decided it wasn't fair to have 2 instances inside Stormwind and only one in Ogrimar. There used to be quite a bit down there if you went to it in BC. it was just like the Stockades but easily 2-3x larger. But when they made the Stormwind Harbor and overhauled all the terrain under Stormwind they cut off the corridors into what you find there now.

they are going to be doing a lot more overhauling if the rumours of flying mounts in azeroth for cataclysm are true (which i am fairly sure they are)

see that noise right there? that is the sound of all the explorers crying... stupid flying mounts... but then again there isn't really that much unexplored stuff out there

and yet this is another place reachable without levitate.
