Hmm, if you're alliance and place your hearth in Darnassus, fly from Tanaris or somewhere in the south of Kalimdor and go to the north, would that possibly bring you near GM Island? (I don't know the exact location but north of Darnassus is about right I think)

Unless I've got this thing quite wrong, that seems possible, doesn't it?

EDIT: Actually, I think I've got it wrong. Using the examples given in the OP, after auto-unstucking in the BG, you'll be flying directly to Badlands from Undercity?

Yes as I wrote above you fly from the hearthstone location to the point where you have started to fly from. That means you would fly from Darnassus to Tanaris which doesn't bring you to GM Island at all. I don't think there is a way to get there. Anyway there are a few ways to get there without hacks.

Right. For some reason I thought this would've started flying from where you hearthed, basically following the path of the normal flight but in a different location. It doesn't make any sense and I have no idea why I thought it worked like that, heh.

And anyway, I think it'd be impossible to get there through anything like this, especially when you consider the distance between GM Island and the main Kalimdor map.

Hmm, if you go from winterspring to felwood, you NEED to pass trough hyjal, will you just be in an infinite loop of no mans land? or will you pass trough hyjal.

It doesn't work. At the time I have found this I thought about that. You will gain No Man's Land and then you will be ported to Winterquell.

In my other post you can see a way to Pass the No Man's Land. Hope I could clear it up. Good thought ~~

Well I found this some weeks ago and maybe you're interested in doing this too. It's basically a way to fly through everything you want.

So here's how to do it:

Step 1)
Place your hearthstone anywhere you want to fly from. ***EDIT*** Don't have hearthstone on cooldown or it wont work!
e. g. -> Undercity

Step 2)
Go to any flight location you want to fly to.
e. g. -> Badlands

Step 3)
Fly from anywhere else except from Step 1). On my server I have to wait long time so I have to fly a long trip (Step 4 why).

Step 4)
Now fly anywhere you want and while flying queue for any Battleground and go into it.

Step 5) At last use Auto-Unstuck and enjoy the flight.

So as you can see you fly from the hearthstone place to the place where you have started to fly.

There are many many maaaany different flight paths so enjoy. It won't last that long anymore.

It does not work with different instances. But you can fly e. g. from Silvermoon to Nagrand or Exodar or what ever. Its pretty cool so have fun!

haha this is a rly fun glitch i set hearth at booty bay, flew from silvermoon city to badlands, did the trick and ended up flying out of the booty bay inn and when i got to the top of eastern kingdoms it glitched baad started flying backwards n doing weiird stuff LOL then it just dropped me off at hammerfall when I never said to go to hammerfall

funny i got the same effect some times by closing wow and reopening it while in flight but not always
