tbh altar is for warlock quest and been there since release :S nabs

If you mean it was put inside of Kara for a Warlock quest then you are wrong. If you mean it was Copied by Blizzard into Kara then you are most likely right. If you look to the left of the screen in the first image you see "The edge of the world" Blizzard would under no circumstances put somewhere you were supposed to get to right next to the edge.

the actual altar is in the blasted lands in the tainted scar, not much there except for an NPC that starts the doomgaurd quest for locks

as requested, i will make a guide and prove/disprove if it indeed is the warlock alter. Coming up from a private server, but same thing this time. Will make it first thing in the morning and post it laster tomorrow night
