Everything went so fast as I watched the video on a certain site, I decided to freeze the vid and as I did, I too, froze.

They could of cut out the head of the existing nightelf model, but they didn't.
Question is, did they cut this from something - or made a headpiece just for this?

I personally think the "Before" looks alot better. I doubt that player models are going to be changed, much at least.

Well, it's probably just designed for the commercial, but they could possibly putting it into the game just for giggles...which is odd for Blizzard. Hope though though...Night Elves with Night Elf faces?! REDUNDANCE FTW! <3

This is like saying that they were gonna update the animations because of the make love not warcraft southpark episode. Nightelf models will not be updated, they just took the model, worked with it for 1 hour from what it looks like (doesnt look much better) to make it a bit diff and made a new item.

Because it's a visual indication that there's a higher definition nightelf texture.

Because a commercial showed 10% of an updated Night Elf model. (the word 'updated' can be debated... it looks different, not necessarily better.)

If he did.. it wouldn't be out of the question to asume that the model used for this, is just the head bit of his nelf's model..
