At least I used it lots of times in my testing account and I didn't get a ban.

Yesterday I used it in Ironforge, running around and stuff. And... well... My account is still working.

I don't think you should use it in your main acc anyways.

The aiming is a bit tricky, but it's quite easy to do. Out of curiosity, does GM Island have a graveyard location? If so, it would be worth trying until you get below the actual island, then releasing spirit.
