Barrens/Ashenvale dead Zone

Hi i recently was checking the loot out at the warsong vendor in the northern barrrens when i was just leaping around the cliffs and managed to find a easy method up through the hills to the right side where the Ashenvale border meets the Barrens.

This area is also easily accessible from the alliance entrance to WSG. I remember this area from when they first introduced the BG.

To anyone saying it's old, is it at all relevant? Everything in Azeroth is 'old' as the areas have been out since the game began.
