It's a bug since the last patch and there's already a thread with this and no, it's not a GM.

It's a bug since the last patch that happens a lot. I've seen it on many bosses also.

i think there are lots of GM's doing their duty

It's just a bug like the poster above said. I've gotten it tons of times on bosses whereas the other members of my party couldn't see it.

GM Or not, that looks the same as that Scarab Scarab thing =)
