IF Guard Patrols the Mountains above IF and makes a weird stop... PICS INCLUDED

So Im messing around on the PTR with the mage that I made, so I decide to go exploring.
I make it atop of Iron Forge (after messing around at IF air port) then I came around this little fellow.





So I had my laugh... but then I noticed he was heading towards the Dwarf Banner atop of Iron Forge.
I thought to my self, "he is not about to walk up there and actually stand there is he?"







Well... he did, lol. Kind of odd right?
I then began to follow him down the mountain...





Then at one point the slope got a little to steep so I stopped as the little dwarf went forward down the steep slope into the snowy yonder...

That NPC has been there since wow was released.

Im not posting about the spot above IF, Im posting about the NPC there, Im pretty sure I have never seen that NPC there ONCE out of all the times I have been to this spot.

He's been there for as far as i can remember at least :P

Yes he has been there often but he also often walks far away...

his been there since release, along with the trolls riding at the cave etc.

The NPC displayed in your image has not been there since release as many claim. Infact this is the first time i've seen him although the last time i went up there must of been back around patch 2.1/2.2.
There have been a few random npcs near the cliff edges maybe moving back and forth, but i've never seen one walk up to the flag pole.

Nice find anyway.

I saw him there when i first time went there at some release of AQ which happened like 4years ago
