[Exploration] Under Stormwind: Revisited

"Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen, I have braved the journey once more, this time on patch 3.0.3.

The first part of the video outlines my route to get under SW (I am aware that there are other routes, so please refrain from making stupid comments like "omg ur doin it teh slow way"). I sped that segment up because most people are already familiar with the route, and I wouldn't want to bore half of my audience by playing it at normal speed. But if you're extremely impatient, you can skip through the beginning and get to the juicy stuff... Eg., getting above the harbor and finding cool spots to slowfall from, 4:06 on.

My old under SW video was recorded before the harbor even existed, hence the "Revisited" suffix in this movie's title.

I really like the edited video and i'm wondering... are you using vegas and if you are how did you make that rainbow effect?

I made the video in Premiere Pro CS4. I think that Vegas is just as good, although I haven't tried it yet.

Anyway, once I had the normal version exported, I opened it in After Effects CS4 and used the third party plugin "Starglow" by Trapcode and linked the glow's brightness and threshold level with the audio amplitude. It sounds complicated but once you do it a few times it gets really easy. If you need any more help feel free to send me a PM
